Aston Martin DBS will get 20 extra HP
The new Aston Martin DBS will get 20 more horsepower and will also be lighter.
The next generation of the DB9 will result in a more powerful DBS version, according to the manufacturer. The 6.0 liter V12 engine will go thru significant changes which will add 20 more HP, combined to a lighter body.

Besides the extra power, the next generation of the DBS will also benefit from improved acceleration, braking, handling and, of course, fuel economy.

It good that Aston Martin make the next generation DBS much lighter, braking, handling and better fuel economy but only 20 horsepower increase? You got to be freaking kidding me right? I love Aston Martin but I would like to see a standard DB9 around 550 hp and the DBS should have 600+ hp.

Didn't Aston Martin and MB just partner up? If yes, why Not use the MB new twin turbo V8 and give the next generation DB9 around 550 hp and tweak the engine a little bit to give the DBS around 600+ hp.

I would like to see the next generation V8 Vantage to have more horsepower (around 450 hp and around 380 to 400 lb.ft of torques would be nice. And make sure it is much lighter as well.
