The survey was based on the responses of 4,979 potential car buyers in 53 Chinese cities. It was fielded in March 2011. There were 65 brands and 161 models included in the study, according to J.D. Power.

This is a small sample size. It cannot represent any means of what the Chinese buyers want. As well, the survey was based on the "POTENTIAL" buyers which cannot reflect the accuracy of the buyer's expectation and the actual vehicle performance.

This report from JD Power was meaningless and useless. It has more marketing value than the actual buyer's preference.
