500 horsepower out of 6.3 naturally aspirated liters isn't bad at all. About the same as the old naturally aspirated 6.2 liter AMG engine, this W12 isn't made for high revs so you won't see high peak horsepower figures as you might on supercar.

Who cares, nobody buys this vehicle in the US anyway. The aged S Class, the aged Lexus LS and the relatively recent BMW 7 Series usally crush the A8 in monthly sales.
