Volkswagen Says It Has NOT Had Any Talks With UAW
Volkswagen of America said Monday that the German automaker has had no discussions with the United Auto Workers at its Chattanooga plant

"The team members will decide whether we have a union or not," Don Jackson, president of VW's Chattanooga plant, said on the sidelines of the Center for Automotive Research's Management Briefing Seminars. "I think we are doing quite well."

Jackson said the UAW has not contacted VW. Some media reports have quoted the UAW as saying they have contacted VW workers to discuss the benefits of joining the union.
