RENDERED SPECULATION: Would A Radical-Looking Porsche Panamera Coupe Be Up Your Alley?

RENDERED SPECULATION: Would A Radical-Looking Porsche Panamera Coupe Be Up Your Alley?
Now we know that Porsche is going to be adding to its Panamera offerings, its right about time creative minds start crafting what they think the new models will look like. A two-door Panamera GT sounds pretty lustful and Juliana Cho used her imagination to create something pretty special.

A little too special, as it seems largely inspired by the 918 Concept.

Although I'd like to say a Panamera Coupe would look this cool, I just don't think it's feasible.

Am I onto something or am I way off base here? You tell me, Spies.

Porsche has a heritage of creating endless versions of their sports cars. Like the 911, the Panamera will share the same faith. We already saw several new engines – petrol, diesel and hybrid – over the past few months and now Porsche is committing itself to an array of bodystyles. A Panamera LWB is planned and a shorter two-door style Panamera GT is in the pen.

The renderings shown here were created by Julliana Cho and released at Yanko Design. They show a sexy, elegant two-door sports car influenced by the Porsche 918 Spyder...

I was wondering when the 928 replacement was coming. I doubt this car will compete with a normal 6-series or CL, M6 & AMG CL 63 or equivalent maybe.

My guess is that this thing will start around $97 - 100k with the turbo version topping out around $150k.

VAG could surprise me and price this thing really aggressive, around $80k, but I doubt it.

If Porsche does decide to do this then I hope they will clearly differentiate the styling from the 911.I actually think offering a mixture of some old 928 ques as well as some 918 ques would give this car some individuality. What I would not like to see is simply a shortened version of the Panamera(eg-same front end but a more sloping rear with 2 doors). That would be a shame. The question is what price point would this car be in. I'm guessing it should start at between 100 and 120 grand so to not tread on the toes of the 911. It should only be offered with a V8. It should also be more of a true 4 seat coupe rather then a 2 plus 2.If Porsche would do this then I could see a case for it.
Also I think it should only be offered in double clutch so to position it as a luxury sport coupe rather then a sports car.So really much like a Panamera in driving characteristics but slightly more aggressive. This leaves room for the 911 to continue and not compete against it directly.

I'd love to see this car built with performance that dusts an Aston Vantage. This could be an amazing vehicle if Porsche pulls out the stops.

I'd be shocked if it was "radical".

A lot of fans have been asking for a new front-engined Porsche 2-door for some years now. It would be interesting to see a coupe that doesn't exactly look like (another) 911-variant.

The Panamera has radically-different design in the lineup --- a coupe version stir enough (good) attention the same way. Do it.

Wow! I didn't realize the concept is a 2+2 GT. Interesting.

I like the door function too, but those will have to be the lightest doors ever to get thru production. It could be a 4-dr coupe with some type of trick-platform that doesn't use a B-pillar --- but then the car would have to have suicide-style doors.
