SPIED: Mercedes-Benz's Baby CLS Seen For The SECOND Time

It was only last week that we informed you about a baby CLS taking shape. Even though we had some initial spy photographs then, we've got even more now.

Although Mercedes-Benz's volume seller is the C-Class, it appears that it wants to inject a more swoopy, stylish variant that breathes emotion into the entry-level premium car segment. Can you blame them?

Think: Which entry-level, premium sedan has any sense of originality and isn't devoid of unique character?

Given that Mercedes is looking for the A-Class to make a big splash, maybe the CLC will make a nice compliment?

If you are still wondering how Mercedes-Benz plans to beat its German competition and take the reins from the likes of BMW and Audi in the premium car segment, the new CLC sports saloon is just one example of how the Stuttgart-based company intends to proceed in the future and lure more customers to its brand.

Mercedes-Benz insiders rightfully describe the CLC (note that the company may use a different name for the production car) as a "baby CLS..."

Is it just me or does the front overhang look rather large? Is this the C-Class platform (as the E is to the CLS)???
