Alittle off subject, but how about a slick and sporty replacement for the last gen Ford Probe GT. I think the industry needs more 2+2 sport coupes that are fun to drive and fairly priced, not in the image of a Hond Civic Si coupe but more like the Prelude,Celica GTS,or 240SX. Rear drive would be great but for the majority of buyers in the market for this kind of vehicle front drive would work just fine as long as the styling was done properly and it had a good amount of HP and torque,225 HP/180 lbft would be easy to get out of a 2.4l 4cyl or a smaller turbocharged engine and keep it as light and fuel efficent as possible. There are enough sport ute's on the streets already,Ford doesn't need another.

Like that Ford Probe GT was designed to replace the Mustang, the V-6 Mustang has made the need/desire for a competent small sport coupe irrelevant, especially without competition: Prelude, 240SX, Celica or GTI optioned the way your want it/costing under $26k.
