VIDEO: THIS Is How You DON'T Want To FINISH A Track Day In An Audi RS5
Unfortunately for the poor driver of this brand new Audi RS5, their track day didn't end up so great. That's because they crashed.

That's never how anyone wants to wrap up a day at the track.

Considering the front and most of the side is damaged, in addition to the air bags deploying, it had to of been a pretty serious impact.

No word if the occupants were hurt but we hope they are safe and in good health.

Be safe out there, Spies!

Youtube member and petrol head NM2255 spotted this badly damaged 2011 Audi RS5. The accident occurred on the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza during a private trackday, but is unknown what exactly happened. Somehow the vehicle crashed and suffered major damage at the front, rear and left-hand side...

Hope the driver is ok and his Insurance covers "Track Days".

The circumstances under which an insurance company will cover you car from damage at a race track are so few (and so NOT related to what dude with an RS5 would be doing there) that you can assume he's going to have cough up a bit of money.

The common advice is to not take a car to track day that you can't afford to lose. I hope, for the sake of the co-signer, that this isn't some millennial's car.

From what I understand, timed events aren't covered under insurance. If you were going to simply run against someone w/o a clock, you might be OK. I totally agree with AlleVier's common advice.

There are no limits on the number of individuals who are rich enough to buy cool perfprmance cars but do not know how to drive a lick. Do you know how to spell S*K*I*P_B*A*R*B*E*R_R*A*C*I*N*G*_S*C*H*O*O*L !

This is why I am hesitant to take my car to a track, road course or strip. Even the best driver could get taken out by a lousy one. Honestly I could be either of those drivers, depending on my competition. Now my wife's car... :)
