Can Danica Patrick Breathe Life Back Into Nascar?

Can Danica Patrick Breathe Life Back Into Nascar?
Unless the new owners of GoDaddy.com boot founder and majority owner Bob Parsons, or Michael Andretti’s lawyers make leaving too painful, it’s a near certainty Danica will abandon the Izod IndyCar Series for NASCAR. (Ms. Patrick, who is also Mrs. Hospenthal, has become a single-name phenomenon like Cher, Madonna and Junior. Down south, she may become “Miss Danica.” We’re just that way down here, bless our hearts.)

I must agree! I would also like another class where the rules change to just a 1.5L engine and any thing goes after that, that way innovation will change the cars we drive today, just like how large wars always bring technology to us.

I have lost ALL respect for Danica and I will now refuse to watch her even in an Indycar. Nobody who drives NASCAR can get any props from me. Set of losers.

I hear you, but this is totally unfair. I'll take Juan Pablo Montoya as a driver any day. I think he switched to Nascar for the money and because he came down with a near fatal disease that effects all professional drivers in time: having a family.

As for Danica, yeah she saved the car, but she's still a horrible driver. She gets by because she is semi-attractive.

Some very impressive driving combined with a little luck, I wish her the best.

I hear Nascar has been testing fuel injection. This should be interesting.
