AUTO SPIES EXCLUSIVE: Hyundai Shocks The World Again As New Accent Beats ALL Sub-Compacts In Sales In First Month!
The Spies have been given a tip that on Monday, along with the hoards of bad financial news that will come, that in its first full month of sales, the new Accent was the #1 sub-compact vehicle in overall sales besting Fit, Fiesta and the rest!

Apparently, 30/40 mpg, value and a cool design is connecting with customers.

It almost seems like Hyundai and Apple can do no wrong these days.

And for Honda and Toyota, not so much.

You hear this news Monday everywhere else but as usual, you heard it FIRST on AutoSpies.com.

Remember, SPY Before you BUY!

Well. How's that for good performance? This is all happening even with Korea's Won rising in value. TTAC's review shows Hyundai didn't compromise in any single area. A mix of refinement, styling, high mpg, and great handling made for a good car.

Good. So it beat every single B segment car in sales. Thanks for the FACT auto spies.

Hyundai's European market cars like i10, i20, i30, i40 are even better. also read it on a site few days ago that Hyundai is the biggest importer in markets like India(huge market) and neighboring countries overtaking Toyota. Hyundai seems unstoppable and running towards the top.

@Huu

Why so butthurt? I've been seeing Sonatas, Elantras, and Accents everywhere I've been going. People just like Hyundais because they provide something different to the market. It's no secret the Japanese govt puts unreasonable barriers to foreign cars, so enough with the protectionist screams.

How much would you like to bet? Maybe some of your Daihatsu and Suzuki stock?

Pretty sure Toyota and Honda give a rats ass about Hyundai. But oh wait...your blanket opinions that you pass off as facts must be correct.

The fact that you comment on every Hyundai post, probably means a certain someone named Huu76 also gives a rats ass. So transparent - I thought the Japs were supposed to be good at hiding their intentions.

Isn't the accent the cheapest new vehicle money can buy?

just fyi its the new Nissan Versa, and in fact the new Accent is more expensive than the last so its not because its the cheapest...........

Hyundai is selling more cars not because they are "cheap" but because they know what people want.

Toyota and Honda seems to have forgotten this lesson which is why their sales have gone bleeping flat.

Just another car with a crease on the side and a melting face with a slanted H on the grill. In due time, even the MIGHTY Hyundai will feel the effects of a down economy.

@Lemonade

Sounds like a Hyundai-hater. Hope it makes you happy thinking everyone's going to be hurting in this economy.

For your sake, I hope you can sleep at night knowing there are people out there who don't share the same views as you when it comes to your precious Hyundai.

"I'll bet not a single one was sold to an Asian since Korean is synonymous with cheap white people."

Really? In China (and in Asia) HKAG outsold Toyota for the first time. In Europe, (white folks live there and not all of them are cheap or poor) HKAG outsold Toyota but not VW.

Oh yeah and the Nissan Versa is supposed to be the cheapest car sold in America. You know the 2012 Versa. Hyundais aren't really that cheap anymore. After all, lets remember the Sonata cost more than the Camry now.

Ohh and Huu76, lets not forget one thing. Before you start talking about Koreans not buying their own cars, lets not forget more Amercians perfered a Hyundai Accent over the Fiesta. Oh yeah and the only reason why GM is top of the line in the states is because of the Earthquake in America. So what's wrong with that picture: American's perfer Asian cars over our own.

I mean the Earthquake in Japan on March 11th. So if it wasn't for that Toyota would continue to outsell GM and Ford. In other words Asian cars dominate America. So worry about that before what car a Korean would prefer.

To Lemonade. You suck. If you going to say what it looks like, go all out. Mention names, models and years. For example, Pontiac Grand Prix, and Ford 500 hint tailights. Or even, Rav-4, Mazda 3, Outlander, Pontiac Vibe, Jeep Campass hint side profiles because of the C pillars. Just come on out and say, " the best selling B segment car out sold the car it got its side profiles from."

@jtz7... Seriously? Could you try not to bust an artery while freely advocating for Hyundai? Get a grip dude! Gawd I wish STUPID were painful!

What you mean Hyundai can do no wrong? Hyundai is no perfect than Toyota, Ford, GM or Honda. After all no Hyundai hybrid has a mpg greater than the Prius. No pickups and plus the Genesis coupe can't out pace the Civic. Or did you forget?

Thanks autospies 2. You just showed me that the Genesis ytd outsold the TL ytd for the total year. And the Genesis outsold the TL in the month of July. Now find me how many Genesis coupes went on sales without the sedan. Then I'll shut up.
