Toyota now No.3 in global vehicle sales
Toyota Motor Co. sold 3.7 million vehicles worldwide this year, down 11 percent compared to a year earlier as sales crashed 62 percent in April-June on production disruptions caused by the March earthquake and tsunami in northeastern Japan.

GM’s global sales increased 8.9 per cent over the first half of 2010 to 4.53 million units, while Volkswagen jumped into second position with 4.13 million vehicle sales.

They still have tons of inventory but the competition has caught up.Don't tell me the dealer lots are empty.I am shopping for a Red Volt and it is not available anywhere.If anything GM could be saying they have less stock than demand.

You are so luck you got a BMW instead of the Venza.Have you seen the Grill on it? There is a Toyota dealer across the street from my work and all I get to see is thos Ugly Venza grills and Prius which is looking more like the Aztek nowadays.Then theres an Acura dealer down the street with those ugly beaks.What happened to Japanese designers?
