Please, the article is obviously wrong. Toyota NEVER has any problems, also Toyota does NOT have recalls. they have product enhancement initiatives.

Product enhancement?? Give me a break!! Why don't they enhance the product before it leaves the factory?? Dude, read the news, last week Forbes reported that Toyota had the second highest number of recalls last year (2nd only to Ford) at 10% of vehicles. They've had approx. 200 and just recently we had the Prius, Avalon and Tundra issues. Toyota recalled 3.8 million pickups last year (5th largest ever US). didn't m-b have to recall loads of car due to the airbag going off on the wrong side in a side collision? it was a big one, not too sure of details. was it all v8 cars or all clks, e classes and cls?

mercedes benz doesn't have bad cars, it has more accessible cars for the masses....and the a-class discouraged agressive driving, so it saved lives. the ml discouraged touching the dashboard, so drivers were less distracted.
italian cars don't have tempramental electronics, they have a soul. :)
