Should The Feds Start Giving Tax Breaks To Efficient Trucks?

Why does everyone think there should be a tax break - you make decisions based upon financial reasons not taxes - you'd think the truck industry would have been demanding more fuel efficient trucks with the price of fuel and that should be reason enough for them to produce more efficient trucks, not requiring tax breaks to produce fuel efficient trucks

Tax breaks just for Billionaires! after all they deserve it! ok I am kidding, but this is how it works sadly, to give the working middle class a very small tax break I wouldn't be sweating it.

No more government interference.

It's almost like individuals in the government are trying to make/pass laws etc to validate their existence.

If anything, there should be a tax hike.

Please don't encourage the gov to tax us any more, this is there tax scheme to tax us more because it is good for the environment, it also gets brownie points for the politicians, I consider myself an environmentalist, I am just not a nut about it, my brother drives a H-3 T Alpha and he gets ignorant environmentalists blasting him all of the time for driving a Hummer and how dare he, he must be a scum bag and the thing sucks fuel back....Ironically they say nothing to half of the other cars and trucks that are way worse on fuel, I think it would be ok to reward people to drive fuel efficient vehicles, it's more gas for us,lol
