Hyundai Kills Free iPad Owner's Manual For Equus

The free iPad won't come with the Equus anymore with the start of the 2012 model year. The new cars start arriving next month. Instead, owners are going to have to depend on their old standby, the voluminous paper version of the manual, says spokesman Jim Trainor.

iPad owners will still be able to add the 2012 Equus manual to their iPad (as well as revised Genesis Sedan manual). iPad itself is no longer "free" with purchase of an Equus.

See the "word play" above??? That's all they did from the beginning. The iPad "CAME WITH" an Equus, loaded with the owners manual app. It was NEVER just an Equus owners manual.
