Does This HELP or HURT The 2012 BMW 6-Series Street Cred?
That's right! There's been a Jersey Shore invasion on the all-new BMW 6-Series convertible. That's because one of the show's reality stars, Ronnie, has picked up one of the slick new rides fairly recently.

I don't think there's much else to say after that. Really, I just have to pose the question:

Does this HELP or HURT BMW's 6-Series now?

It looks like Ronnie from Jersey Shore is trying to up his car game just like his buddy
Mike Sorrentino a.k.a The Situation. So it might not be a Ferrari like The Situation's but it's nice. Maybe, just maybe Ronnie's actually trying to be a little more modest with his new found funds...?

Anytime a celebrity drives a car its like free advertising. I don't know about "street cred" but it will help their balance sheet.

The people with real money are moving upstream...Bentley's, Lambo 4 door
coming, Ferrari four seater, etc etc. because they don't want to associate with crowd you now find at dealers waiting in line for service
wearing their hats sideway, cursing on their cell phones with their pants to the floor and tatoos on their necks. I'm not judging just stating what I see.

In theory your absolutely correct. However the problem for some of the pompous elite who think in this manner is that many of the so-called "undesirables" now have new money and can buy/lease exotics cars in the upper price ranges as well.

Therefore, in essence it won't stop or prevent top dollar automobiles from being purchased by other demographic groups who wouldn't normally be in the market for high-end vehicles.

Parris Hilton owns a Mercedes SLR, and trust me, it did absolutely nothing to alter my perception of the car. If anything, it altered my perception of her.

Sure, good advertising but be honest: how many Jersey Shore viewers can afford a 6-series? I'll guess less than 20%.

less than 3%! How many people in the US can afford a $100k vehicle and watch MTV? Only celebrities.

if anything it shows the true face of our country ....and that ( tho acting like animals) some of these reality show people are some of the smartest in the game... you get to travel the world , party ,drink, meet girls become a celeb ...get all kind of endorsements and all while having fun. paris hilton did an interview once when a reporter asked her if she was acting and she simply said .... " i'm laughing at you all... all the way to the bank ..i get to be silly and make millions" the situation is now worth over 50 million (in a two year span)now and his celebrity is still growing ...so who are the true idiot's ...i think its society...

He didnt even get the upgraded wheels!? He put on a front plate bracket? What a loser...
Its free advertising, it only helps. These reality stars only help our economy. They make millions that didnt have to truly earn. So, they spend it because they do not know the true value of the dollar. Look at all of the richest people in the country. They don't spend like these fools! They hold on to their cash and they could buy millions of everything. Thats why the government wants to tax them more. They dont reciprocate.
