The front is nothing like the 5. The lights and grill are very diff. in shape. The rear lights resemble the 5, but that is a good thing b/c they look very good. Overall shape says 3 series with the short trunk and flared wheel arches giving it a sportier look.

Looks okay...not breaking any new ground. I'm more interested in seeing the interior. IMO the current cars interior is the pits as compared to the previous generation. I hope they get closer to that than the current car.

having personally had two E46's and two E90's, I've never understood how anyone could think the new one isn't nicer inside. I am forced to assume the vast majority of people who say this have never actually owned either vehicle.

I never owned either one because i'm a Benz guy, but my ex girlfriend had both of them and I spent a good amount of time in them. I liked the design of the last gen cars interior much more. The dash just loooked better to me. I don't like the brow line that goes across the non idrive dash, the materials look a bit cheaper to me and I just dont like the design.

Very nice, the headlights appear to go all the way to the grill(unlike the 1 series) similar to classic BMWs, or the i8.

I want to see more pics, but the front looks very good from what I can see. It mixes smooth surfaces with some nice sharp lines very well.

So this is an omen ... 3 years ago today, I bought an e90. It made me a happy man. Today, I see the first real pics of the car fully undressed and I am super excited. I cannot wait to get behind the wheel of one. 6 more payments to go and it will be time to purchase again!!!
