WAGONER: GM doesn't need a white knight...

Now why would Wagoner be expected to say someone else should have his job? The headline is kind of silly. It ought to read "Wagoner thinks he is the best option to run GM, others disagree"

I found it funny how it's Nissan and Renault which look like they are coming to the rescue....of a much smaller company MAYBE, but GM? Really... The U.S. is really the only market GM is having major issues. And $3BIL for a 20% share, is an insult.

GM's issue stem from legacy costs, the UAW and medical insurance costs. Cure any of these 2, and profittably would increase by $2000 on each vehicle.

If maybe our government would do something to improve medical coverage/costs/benefits, or give benefits to company who HQ their businesses here (instead of sending jobs overseas) it would be a great relief to those companies, it's workers, and all of us in general.
