When A Customer Orders A Rolls In A Color Like THIS, Is It WORSE Than The Jersey Shore Cast Wearing Your Clothes?
There's been a lot of news lately about how different things can effect a brand like the recent story we just covered about Abercrombie supposedly offering money to the cast of Jersey Shore to NOT wear their clothes.
Plus it IS our opinion that in today's world of instant tweets and TMZ that the slightest event can change A LOT of people's opinions of a product.
Just look at Ed Hardy clothes.
We won't go there about what people think of you if you're sporting it still.
So when we were at the Quail Event yesterday and saw one of the most hideous looking Rolls-Royce Phantom's ever, we wanted to ask your opinion.
When you see one of these drive by you on the road. parked or at a dealer, does it diminish your opinion of in this case Rolls-Royce cars?
Spies, discuss....

I don't understand what's so hideous about this car. :-/
Also, agent001, do tweets and tmz change your opinions? hahaha

How about that ridiculous PURPLE!?
My point Joe is that twitter, fb and tmz can report something negative like that and 95% of the world knows about it within minutes which can sometimes create a negative image if the purveyors delivering it position it in a bad light.
Whereas in the old days it make take months to circulate and not have such a reach as to dominate the conversation of the day.

purple? Maybe I should get my monitor checked, this looks like a very rich blue colour on my computer.
Also, yes, information does spread faster then it used to, but any good publicist knows that negative advertising is still advertising and still gets the name out. For example back in 1982 Tylenol issued a massive recall, the recall was so big that almost every family in America heard about it, fortunately this negative news also managed to make Tylenol a household name and its sales boomed after the recall.

I don't like the wheels but I'm assuming what I'm not supposed to like is the color... but I do. It's flashy and stylish without being garish like the Mansory RR's. I'd probably go with a bright blue over the purple personally but that's actually a pretty blue purple anyway, not like "Jack Nicholson Joker Purple". I like it. Who says a $400k Rolls has to be plain?

The Perp should be castrated for committing this dastardly act!

That is hideous! Rolls-Royce is known for it's classy hand made automobiles, and the rapper that painted this car purple ruined it. Nothing about it says classy now, just goudy, ghetto looking ride, like something out of pimp my ride, except this is a new car, not a POS that they made into a pimp mobile, but this is still a ghetto rider. Does it jump up and down also and have 10,000 watt stereo? Seriously, I understand individualizing and making the car your own, but c'mon! The workers in England must've been cursing painting such a beautiful handmade car into a ghetto mobile.

I don't think the body color is that bad but the top somehow bothers me.
