Is The 2012 Lamborghini LP700-4 "Aventador" The BEST Looking Supercar EVER?

When you're spending six figures, things get a little more complicated in the supercar domain. That's because there is such a variety of choices, ranging from: style, motors and performance.

You have to keep in mind that a Nissan GT-R or Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 will likely put up similar numbers, but if you're not just after speed you're going to want something that has a bit more panache. And to be quite honest, the 2012 Lamborghini LP700-4 "Aventador" has enough spark for...everyone.

Shaped with its hard lines and rigid appearance, it appears to take inspiration from the Reventon and Gallardo, then smash it together.

With its low, wide and long stance, the Aventador looks as though it's ready to eat whatever is in front of it. Then the liberally placed vents here and there, topped off by the centrally mounted exhaust, are truly the icing on the cake.

The real question is though: how do you feel about Lamborghini's latest flagship? Is THIS what a six-figure supercar should look like?

Does this harken back to the days of the Countach, where it was an aspiration for every auto enthusiast?

yes!! Its a modern masterpiece with the performance to match and breaks new ground in the supercar segment. Remember the countach about 30 years ago..This will have more of an impact!!

In my opinion, the 458 looks meek next to it.

This is one you need to see in person to truly appreciate.

There are a lot of good looking cars but in my opinion, none better looking than this one.

LP700 looks better than LP640 from all angles except Rear IMO. Also i think the interior could have been better and more Ultra-expensive looking something like the interior of Veyron, Spyker, Pagani...etc. That interior looks too comfortable and straight forward. Very unItalian. especially look at the AC vents area and glove box.

Very nice detailing everywhere but evolutionary styling...was looking for a greater leap to the next generation. Great car but more of the same.

This car is amazing. Like a fighter jet on wheels. The lines are amazing. Looks like it's glued to the road. The interior looks well designed besides high quality materials. To me, if I won the lottery and I could afford any super-car out there, and I love Ferrari's, this car would be it! It seems to be the perfect supercar in looks, driveabilty, comfort, exclusivity,performace, etc. All the boxes are checked on the attributes one looks for in a car like this!

An absolute work of art. The exterior design alone is enough to place it among the most beautiful cars ever made, but what they did with "modernizing" the interior puts its in a class of it's own. The way they integrated the infotainment system into the dash and designed the interior to look like a jet fighter cockpit is second to none.

I love this car.
