When you're spending six figures, things get a little more complicated in the supercar domain. That's because there is such a variety of choices, ranging from: style, motors and performance.
You have to keep in mind that a Nissan GT-R or Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 will likely put up similar numbers, but if you're not just after speed you're going to want something that has a bit more panache. And to be quite honest, the 2012 Lamborghini LP700-4 "Aventador" has enough spark for...everyone.
Shaped with its hard lines and rigid appearance, it appears to take inspiration from the Reventon and Gallardo, then smash it together.
With its low, wide and long stance, the Aventador looks as though it's ready to eat whatever is in front of it. Then the liberally placed vents here and there, topped off by the centrally mounted exhaust, are truly the icing on the cake.
The
real question is though: how do you feel about Lamborghini's latest flagship?
Is THIS what a six-figure supercar should look like?Does this harken back to the days of the Countach, where it was an aspiration for every auto enthusiast?
