DETAILS: 001 Photos EVERY Nook & Cranny Of The All-New 2013 Lexus GS' Interior
It was only this week that the all-new 2013 Lexus GS was revealed to the public. Although you may have seen plenty of studio shots, we've got the real deal. Real-life photographs of the latest Lexus product and we're going to act on a hunch here, but this "face" is probably going to be the all-new trademark going forward.

Think about it, all of the luxury marques have their own distinctive look and now Lexus needs to find theirs.

But back to what this article's really about. The interior. Lexus' interiors haven't always been that great, that's fact. The Japanese brand has always been lagging in the luxury space. Now though, it appears that Lexus has stepped up its game with the all-new 2013 GS.

That's because it appears that this car is heavily influenced by the GX sport-utility vehicle, which the Agents thought had the BEST Lexus interior, ever. I think it is safe to say that this GS has set the new standard for Lexus interiors.

Ugly on the outside (front end), but nice on the inside. An ugly dog with a heart of gold ;-)

I'm really starting to like this car! The outside is sort of like a BMW 5-series - pretty but a bit bland too. The interior might not be original, but I love it! It's rather clever, and the multi-color combo is amazing!

Oh, and I like how there's a lot of wood and leather now! I hope it's not mostly optional.

The interior design of the last-generation GS was simplistic yet classy, elegant and with a touch of futurism in it. It was nice.

This new cabin is just a total mess in terms of design to me. I find it ugly and uninspired and completely not in harmony with the subdued handsome looks of the exterior. There are also so many styling elements in that cabin that look like they were taken off other cars. The inner door handles look like a cheap rip-off from the current C class and the shifter looks like it came from an Infiniti G! None of them match, there is no harmony, which again leads me to say, "I personally hate this new cabin design of the GS. It's beyond ugly/mismatched."

Plus the panel gaps look huge.

I just left the Concorse event and I can tell you that amid much skepticism, the car is amazing. Who knows about the improved drive (supposedly the steering and chassis are much improved) but i can attest to the fact that the interior is superior to anything seen thus far. You truly have to see it to appreciate. The "wow" factor of that 12.3" screen is huge. I have a 2011 BMW 7 series with a 10" screen and this blew me away... It's deeply recessed so although the screen is huge and highly appealing, the climate control / stereo controls below it seem to "pop" towards the driver. Much has been improved on the vehicle as well. There's a facial recognition camera on the steering column and now the trunk has power control. All in all it's amazing.. Even the backseat has audio controls in the rear armrest "a la LS460". Really cool... Now let's see what the sticker comes in at. I have a hard time believing they can deliver this car at the current pricing.

If Ifiniti M got BMW 5 drunk and had "relations" you would get this. I love it! One of the few Lexuses that I would drive. As one blogger said on another blog that the Lexus seem to have a far better execution in the interior department than the BMW 5, but at the same time blatantly copying the 5's interior. So, that's my take on it.

I personally do not like the interior based on these photos. It does look like it borrowed from Infiniti. The 5 series interior looks better, but I have not seen the new GS so I will wait until I actually sit in one to decide for myself.

I, personally, miss the digital timex clock in the dash...

The interior smell like a Mercedes E class and center console too. They critize a lot the BMW I drive but at the end what happens ha ha ha they have to do all that german brands doo so.....
They also start to use the L shape on the tail lights like BMW interesting. The new thing is that they don't use this time the same system like Mercedes for the memory and positioning the seats lol. Nothing special nothing new just copy and paste mustly.
