An Emerging Trend? GREEN Cars Invading The Green At Pebble Beach?

One thing I've noticed while perusing our gallery from this weekend's Concours d'Elegance, at Pebble Beach, is that there seems to be a bubbling trend: green cars are making an appearance.

Pebble Beach, which is really known for its insanely priced exotics and incredibly mint vintage cars isn't known for hybrids or full-on electrics. But this year we saw Rolls-Royce bring out its completely electric Phantom project car, Jaguar bring forward its C-X75 concept and others.

Is this just a sign of the times?
