Bmw X1 will probably arrive in the U.S. after it gets a nose job
BMW’s X1 is much-awaited in U.S. shores but its arrival has been delayed further to this fall instead of in the spring of 2011. It has been offered in Europe for some time now and it had already gone on sale in Canada and in several countries in Asia. One of the primary reasons for the delay is the high demand in Europe.

There is something wrong with the X1's nose. The grill is pushed to the front while the lights are pushed far back and this makes the car look weird from certain angles.

It is supposed to make it look aggressive, flared eye-brows, wide-opened nostrils, and a big frown. It looks angry.

I am 5'11" (180 cm), 187 lbs.(85 kg) and can barely fit in the X3 -- feel quite claustrophobic in it. How would the X1 fare? Would only petite women drive it? Do they like angry cars? Do they care about performance? Maybe it needs to become 007's next car from Q-branch :)

Doesn't matter what it looks like. It is selling so well that they have to delay it US introduction until MY2013! This even took BMW AG completely by surprise.

It terribly needs a facelift and hope BMW fix the front end styling.

That would be a great replacement for my kid's Escape if they get a permanent position.
Managing a 500k inventory for the Resort Tour has corrupted them. :)
