Brabus Preparing Project Car For Frankfurt, What Could It Possibly Do To The NEW CLS? V12?

Brabus is infamously known as one of the premier Mercedes-Benz tuners. Not only is its work exceptional, the company adores its V12s.

At this point I am pretty sure there isn't a Mercedes product they have worked on that doesn't have a V12 shoehorned under the hood.

Although Brabus is remaining mum about what it plans to debut in Frankfurt, it sure did tease us with this image of what clearly is a covered CLS. But, as you can see, there is likely some serious modifications done to it as that glimpse of its front valence seems to scream "I need AIR!"

Also note beneath the MASSIVE ductwork there is a carbon fiber front lip.

Taking all of this into consideration, do you think Brabus went back to its old V12 fix or would you guess they amped up Mercedes' new 5.5-liter V8 with some more forced induction modifications?


One of the most important exhibitions on the vehicle sector will start from September 15th, 2011 in Frankfurt - the IAA!

BRABUS will also be part of this years' exhibitors lineup. Expect the unexpected and see a couple of highlights as well as breathtaking world premieres.

You realize this story is about the tease and not a random independent artist's rendering, right?

That's pure speculation while we're asking users to voice what they think Brabus is up to...

Sure it is but you apparently think it will look different than the cars they have already done? I will venture to say the rendering is spot on. Brabus has not changed the front fascia and quarter panels in three years!
