First It Was Cell Phones, Now Its THIS -- What Should We Do?
One of the biggest problems with driving in the information age is that so many drivers are always distracted by their telephone. Well, if you thought that was bad, get a load of this.

While talking with Agent 001 the other day, we both commented how we encountered drivers that aren't distracted by their telephone:

Now they're picking up their iPads and flying through it while on the road.

Is this WORSE than a driver on their telephone?

What can we do and what should we do to nip this problem in the butt? Drivers already know of the risks that a cell phone brings to the table, why would they believe an iPad could be safer?

"First It Was Cell Phones, Now Its THIS -- What Should We Do?"

Nothing! People still use headphones in their vehicles!!

"But he's not speeding or otherwise displaying signs of reckless driving so it's not dangerous."

AND, AND, AND, it looks like he is driving a Porsche. He should be allowed because he drives a Porsche!! What's the worst that could happen??? He hits you and you sue for a ton of cash?!!! It's all good! Carry on, iPad, iPad2 users!!!

Crazy. I was zipping thru traffic before getting on the highway. I saw a car that was lagging behind the rest & got in front of the slower car. I looked back --- the guy was angry, of course --- but he had a set of white headphones on. Really?! I see more people yacking on their cell phones today --- I used to see people reading books on the interstate. It's not surprising to see people using tablets while driving --- though just as stupid, if not more dangerous.

Nothing worse than having these people in your rear view mirror. My recommendation is that every car come with a jamming device that blocks out any device in the car that is not hands free/voice operated unless
the vehicle is in park or at a full stop.

I have thought of that but what if you are a passenger in the car and you need to use the cell phone or a tablet or you have kids in the back seats and you need to keep them entertained.

Well it's clear now, all we have to do is create a super virus that only affects ipads and that'll keep em off the road. lol a computer virus that saves lives!
