Oh my goodness....I was sort of playing along until I read "made in Detroit along side the..." Um...I'm thinkin the Italian leather craftspeople who do fine work in Modena are not coming over to train Detroiters on how it's done. One of the "you can't get it anywhere else" reasons for buying something Italian is completely lost. Hey, didn't we go down this road 25yrs ago with the TC? Built now by people in Detroit who are REALLY pissed off at the world....hmmmm.

A Maserati made in Detroit just doesn't make sense. Even Porsche makes the Cayenne in Germany, not in one of VW's USA or Mexico plants.

Its not bad looking, I really expected a grand cherokee with a facelift and a new rear. Compared with what the first generation Cayenne looked like (that thing was ugly) the Maserati just reminds me of more an X6 or FX competitor in its styling. I think depending on the price, interior quality, and performance this should be sales success for Maserati. Overall though not bad looking.

Don't like the direction of Maserati's design. Too much going on. They d keep it simple, without all the chrome accents.

And by the way, the damn thing has a Cayanne figure with a maserati face... No Thanks, PASS...
