Lawyer States Toyota's Desire To Interview 250 Plaintiffs In Class Action Suit Is Unreasonable
Toyota Motor Corp. is battling with plaintiffs' lawyers over how many vehicle owners the company can interview ahead of a potential trial over sudden unintended acceleration claims.

Owners of the cars brought suit against Toyota, claiming their cars lost value because they were recalled for safety concerns. Lawyers for the complaining owners are seeking class-action status for the complaints.

"Owners of the cars brought suit against Toyota, claiming their cars lost value because they were recalled for safety concerns."

Restated: A whole lotta stupid people believed the media-inspired frenzy and Fed-driven witch-hunt that was the Toyota Unintended Acceleration Scandal, even though no actual fault was ever found by CSIs, Government Inquisitions, and NASA. Never the less, the resale value of my perfectly safe Toyota declined, so I blame Toyota for that.

Did I miss anything?

Also sue all the dumbasses who claim the Pinto was unsafe, even though the actual data shows it to be in the 49th percentile of fires resulting from rear-end collisions.

Then sue Dateline NBC for rigging Chevy trucks with fireworks to produce the desired explosions they couldn't attain by ramming them.

Welcome to America, Toyota.

The United States of America: More lawyers per capita than any other nation in the world. And it shows :-(
