No Veyron. I think that the list is very good. But I think it is definately missing the Ford model T and the VW bug.

the model t is there, it's number 55. the vw bug is number 13.

Very "UK"-centric list presumably voted on in the UK. Nevertheless rather entertaining, I would have expected the Citroen's to do better, especially the DS.

Overall a fun exercise.

U ppl notice that two BMW's came b4 any mercs or audis and when the merc finally came it was an old one. Merc is not as great as they were back then. The Audi TT is by far not the best Audi are these ppl mad.

Stop the BIAS. This list proves nothing, really. These are the "100 Greatest Cars" according to WHOMEVER MADE THE LIST.

Audi, BMW or Mercedes are all GREAT CARS, even today. Stop the BIAS please BMW4Ever...

C&D loves the 3-series, so much that it wins over the Lexus IS even though the test model had electrical gremlins etc. Now that is BIAS.

Audi and MB still make great cars, but you have to understand that the majority of car magazines out there are sports bias and hence prefer BMW's over the competition. Nothing wrong with that, but they make the mistake of telling the public that the "BMW is the benchmark..."...neglecting to basically go into details.

Benchmark in what? In terms of comfort, I suspect that MB, Lexus and even Audi are better than BMW. BMW's are the benchmark when it comes to sports sedans, loud and clear. In terms of comfort, they usually lag behind for the sole reason that their cars are designed to handle well. A compromise has to be reached.

My 2001 E39 530i is a good handler and comfortable: so I thought. Then I drove an E-Class from the late 1990s (4-eyed body style one...) and the comfort of that car left my 530i in the dust. Handling wasn't too bad, but not really in the same league as my 530i. In terms of ride and seat comfort, the E-Class owned my car.

Do you see what I am trying to say? Car magazines are not as objective as they should be.
