Ticketing Companies Accused Of Giving Gifts And Payouts To Keep Cameras Up And Running

Money sometimes brings out the worst in people — even police officers and government officials — and it’s clearly happening in the case of red-light cameras.

One example is Lynnwood, Washington Deputy Police Chief Karen Manser asking American Traffic Solutions (ATS) for a job, even as she opened negotiations for the renewal of Lynnwood’s red-light camera contract with ATS.

Who needs regulations? Washington should keep out and allow these companies to do whatever they want!!!

Yes we will just let these companies just walk over everyone so they can get rich taxing you on the roads that you payed for! remember they can set the parimaters of what constitutes a ticket, that could be one mph over the limit, so are you sure you want to give a private company free reign, just like your Federal Reserve minus the few percent that the Gov. owns.

There's a growing consensus that regulations aren't needed. 009 is on board. The idea was pushed to Americans by politicians (GOP) that were bought out by corporations. They push the corporate agenda and people like 009 get on board without realizing that he's voting against his own best interests. I've never seen a bigger bunch of dummies in my life.

BSBB,

Did you do any reading about the Rothschilds? LOL!!

1911,

I'd rather listen to Micheal Moore than your man Rush Limbaugh. Who would you rather I listen to. David Dukes?

"Rush?
He is a shock jock radio host. Why would I listen to him for NEWS? Unlike you, I don't listen to Comedians and D-rated movie producers for my news."

- Aljezzera and BBS news are my main news outlets. What are yours? And I guess that you think that you're smarter than John Stewart? You aren't.

"Lex....I truly feel sorry for misguided souls like you. I try to help you, but you refuse to learn. Help me help you."

- This coming from a man who didn't even know who the Rothschilds were. LOL!!!! You make valid points. I’ve noted them. But you didn't answer my question. It must make you angry that I had to teach you about who actually has the most wealth. How can someone so uninformed know something that you didn’t know? You’re ignorant butt thought that Bill Gates was the second richest man in the world. LMFAO!! That’s what you get for relying on a WALL ST publication (Forbes) for your info.

1911,

You must be too embarassed to tell us where you get your news from. I've asked you that question several times before and you refuse to answer. Just like your buddy BSBB who refuses to acknowledge that he didn't know anything about the Rothschilds.

It's OK. Fox News is "fair and balanced" LOL!!!

@BSBB: I think there is a bit of a kink in your argument. Police Unions are not for Traffic Cameras as they do not receive any revenue from them. Furthermore, it reduces job security and takes away jobs from cops, who would normally enforce traffic rules/law and are not needed since these cameras are doing the job for them. I'd agree with you if you said police departments and municipalities, but not police UNIONS. That's like saying the auto-worker unions were pro-robot and increased mechanization.

What do you think?
