Mercedes S-Class gets even better looking?

Wheels make a car and that is especially true when it comes to equipping a Mercedes with exclusive BRABUS light-alloy wheels. With the new Monoblock E wheels with 21-inch diameter has opened a new dimension for the latest Mercedes S-Class.

The sporty and exclusive wheel design with nine strikingly styled spokes and polished drop center rim was originally designed specifically for the top-of-the-line Mercedes model. The luxury sedan can be fitted with the new BRABUS Monoblock E wheels in size 9Jx21 on the front axle and in size 10.5Jx21 in the rear. The perfect high-performance tires come from technology partners Pirelli and Yokohama in sizes 245/35 ZR 21 or 255/30 ZR 21 in front in combination with 285/30 ZR 21 tires on the rear axle.

Due to the overwhelming response to these light-alloy wheels for the S-Class BRABUS has developed special versions of this wheel for almost all other current Mercedes models. BRABUS now offers the Monoblock E design in many different sizes ranging from 8.5Jx19 to 10Jx22.

In close cooperation with BRABUS technology partners Pirelli and Yokohama BRABUS has developed custom-tailored tire/wheel combinations for various Mercedes-Benz automobiles ranging from the C-Class to the latest M-Class.

Like all BRABUS light-alloy wheels the new Monoblock E wheels are manufactured in OEM quality and represent state-of-the-art production technologies.

I must say that when I first saw the New S-class, I was disappointed. The design just didn't do anything for me (fenders were horrible). But just as I figured, the design grew on me. This S-class is definitely gonna retake the throne from the BMW 7-series as the leader of the luxury elite. Now, if only MB could drop the MSRP by 15K, they would rule the world.

On to the rims, they are perfect on the S-class. However, they don't look as good on the other models, especially the M-class.

I'm sorry, I just have to say that no matter what you do to the new S-Class, it's just not an attractive car. I don't know what is up with designers now and all the angles and sharp edges that are on the lots today. I even went browsing on eBay and found someone that had a new 07 S65. Guess what? Still looks like an oragami project gone wrong.

I know I'll get some grief on this but I have to go with the A8 and even S8. The overall design of the car flows from one end to the other and it just tops out the S-Class.

I too hated the new S-Class when it first appeared. But after careful thinking, time passing and constantly seeing them (I live in Albany), I changed my mind.

The new S-Class is hot. It looks sporty, elegant, classy and futuristic and still like an S-Class. I've seen photoshops of the S-Class without fender flares and it clearly lacks something. The fender flares don't appeal to everyone, but I think they make the car look serious and sporty and also add a type of elegance to the vehicle.

Sorry, but when I see the last generation S-Class on the road, I can't help and think to myself, BORING. The new one has it made IMO.

The new S has definitely grown on me. Compared to the last generation, this one is definitely more progressive. It definitely has road presence, which it should. The interior is incredible and now makes the BMW 7's interior look complicated and dated. Benz did a great job with this car.....they had to.

Maybe it's just me, but 21" wheels on this elegant sedan looks a bit overstated and too ghetto. I'd prefer 18". But on the coupes and convertibles, the 21" doesn't look too out of place
