Yeah, put in a heavier V12 and watch the handling go down the drain. Then to compensate for the extra weight, the suspension needs to be modified and that results in possible extra weight and more costs.

It should have been THAT to begin with. It's a cost no object car, so what's the point of selling a $220,000 "base" model and then a $290,000 "black series" ? the people buying this car could care less if they're paying $220K or $290K, just make the best car you can and call it a flagship and charge whatever for it. This is not a Honda Accord where you have a DX and LX and EX version.
