Lexus LS-F Nurburgring Video Surfaces - Should BMW Be Worried Now?
As you know already, there have been some photos circulating the net several weeks back, with the Lexus LS-F testing at Nurburgring, and a LFA GTE race car that will be campaigned at the 24 Hours of Le Mans next year. These photos have been removed at Toyota’s request.

However, they showed up again, as the Lexus has been spied again at the Nürburgring Racetrack and we have presented those spy photos at the time, but now we have something more than photos… we can show you for the first time the new Lexus LS TMG Edition on video!

Holy bananas, that sounds eerily similar to an LFA engine, but then again exhaust tuning has tricked me before

Exactly, they shouldn't be worried - if anything, they should be excited at the idea of further competition that will only motivate them to engineer something better.

I hope they'll carry the engine to the upcoming GS-F!
That would be AWSOME!

I have to agree with you so far. He knows what it takes, but can one man change a company that big?

with a name like japanengineeringno1 I'm not surprised you would choose the ls-f over anything else :)

The mule's wheelbase appears quite shorter than LS even the Short wheel base LS, so it very likely that underneath the pre-facelifted LS shell there is a new chassis or even the 2013 GS chassis with performance modifications.
Very exited about this Lexus. At the launch of GS at Pebble Beach, Akio Toyota announced that 2012 will see 9 new or refreshed Lexus models. Hope GS-F and LS-F are among those 9 models. Another one here, RX F-Sport.

If Lexus keep up, maintain or improve what they're really good at which is quality, reliability, technology, and all the other good stuffs and give all of the cars in their line up a "F" sports performance that would be Awesome.

BMW has the "M" Audi has the "S/RS", MB has "AMG" so it would be cool if Lexus start to offer something to rival their competitors. Like it or not competition is good for of us car fanatic.

nope. lexus track record is building benign cars with 1980s cadillac handling, derivative design and ancient engines. not a concern for anyone who enjoys driving.

I find these Lexus versus German debates very laughable, and downright ridiculous. I have owned both Mercedes and Lexus (LS430, GS400 and E500). They are both great makes and have strengths and weaknesses. I have lived with both makes over protracted periods. Yeah, Lexus cars are not driver oriented; but, at least give them some credit for trying to push the envelope a bit. Toyota does have to stop doing body design though. Please see the Italians...please!!!!
