Who knows? That is the problem before most people buying this caliber car are looking at a luxury brand. The last few examples were exceptional but priced very high. At least in the US that is.

Looks good, but you could say the same for the previous gen Phaeton.

How can a VW be priced more than an Audi? it's like Toyota making a car that cost more than its Lexus sibling. It makes no sense! Especially when this VW was ugly all around!!

If you check the history of this car, the VW bosses wanted to make THE best car on earth!! Think about that for a second!

Will not be or i say should not be successful as long as there is Audi A8. VW Phaeton is just too close to A8 in price, Luxury, features, engines..etc. But VW can afford it because they have too many platforms and are very expert at platform-sharing so i think producing Phaeton isn't very costly that is why VW isn't too concerned Phaeton sells well or not.

Looks were never the Phaeton's problem, it was the cost.
