The Battle Of The BUTTS - WHICH Grand Tourer Would Sir-Mix-A-Lot Like?

The Battle Of The BUTTS - WHICH Grand Tourer Would Sir-Mix-A-Lot Like?
Now I know this Auto Motor Und Sport story is really trying to focus very hard on the fact that these are three diesel offerings and that they're luxury cruisers.

It's probably an in-depth car review that is detailing every little facet of these German machines but I just don't simply care.

That's because there is one thing that I just seem to have difficulty getting over with all three of them. One LARGE issue.

Their asses are ridiculous.

The more I see the Audi A7 in my neighborhood the more I think its rear quarter looks way too saggy. The Panamera I have always admired, but when it came to the back end it just is too bulbous. And the 5-Series GT has SO many problems I don't even know where to start.

But someone has to dig them, I mean, the A7 and Panamera have been flying out of showrooms quickly. The 5'er, not so much.

With that said, from a design standpoint, if you had to choose ONLY from these three, which would it be?

the A7 is quite beautiful in person....arguably the best looking audi currently in production. but the interior is disappointing. and, while the panamera is quirky on the outside, it's unmistakable. and the interior is STUNNING. i'd take the panamera over any of these.

5-GT is just embarrassing. It can easily compete with Ssang Yong Rodius and Musso for the ugliest car title. BMW's 6 Gran coupe would compete well in this category.
BTW I hate the rear end of Panamera but out of the 3 i would take Panamera.

My rankings Design Wise:
Quattroporte
Rapide
CLS
6 Gran coupe
A7
Panamera
5-GT

nobody in the market for an A7, panamera or 5GT would even consider these cars. different class of vehicle.

I can't believe you'd rather drive on of those jacked-up wagons when the Panamera and A7 are basically those but with better handling from the lower stance.

I know I'm not alone in saying that the 5GT rear end needs a major design rethink. However putting that aside and as the owner of one
it is one great car...easy to get in and out, well appointed interior, huge rear seat room, terrific suspension adjustments with real diifferentiation between settings, unbelievable B road handling for
a two ton vehicle, a 7 series at a discounted 5 series price, etc etc.
Best all round BMW I've ever owned and I've owned many. Then again that
rear end needs a major redesign.

The Audi has the best looking ass of the three. The Porsche has a great body and face, but its ass does not fit it and the BMW's just looks chunky without form = fat and nasty!

Was behind a Ferrari California last night.

It's Backside is way too large for its frame.

With 5GT, it's a lot more wrong than just the back.

For comfort the BMW, for performance, obviously the porsche, and for a blend the Audi. I do think the Audi is the best looking.
