The Toyota brand's flamboyant new global styling chief wants to put an end to a long tradition of conservative design.

In the future, he says, the styling of Toyota-badged vehicles will be more aggressive, reflecting the more emotional approach being called for by Toyota Motor Corp. President Akio Toyoda.

In charge of the design metamorphosis is Dezi Nagaya, a veteran Toyota designer who dresses like he's on his way to a trendy Shibuya nightclub rather than off to work at Toyota.

In regards to the decline of the US, yes, it's so logical to blame immigrants. Can you show me how increased immigration has caused the ills of big business, poor healthcare, poor education system, the list goes on. Yes, these immigrants have caused all of it, yes absolutely. You will never get the big picture as you are so narrow minded. As was stated a while ago by Joe Limon, you tend to rely on association to come to conclusions, but not causation, which is one of your major flaws.

Mad dog 20/20 or Thunderbird will get you drunk faster that an expensive bottle of champagne that doesn't make it a better wine than the expensive one. While the average wino will be just fine with drinking Mad Dog, Thunderbird or Richards Wild Irish Rose, they are not going to work for a Wine connoisseur or a person that has standards when it comes to the taste of wine. The LF-A is that expensive wine. While The Viper would be the cheaper wine. I wouldn't quite put it down there with Thunderbird and the likes but it is a more affordable buzz. I do Have to agree with you though bill on one thing, the Challenger is far sportier than anything Toyota makes now which is sad because the challenger is fat and heavy pig. I have driven one, and it drives like a heavy sedan, not very sporty at all unless you drive the SRT 8. That tells you just how Bland Toyota is right now.

Toyota should make its Toyota- and Lexus-branded cars look racy and attractive but continue to be completely boring from the driver's seat to avoid alienating its buyers. People (present company excluded) want to think that they're driving F1 cars without having to put up with the backbreaking work of shifting gears, for example. Let Scion and the F Division of Lexus make more exciting, youthful vehicles while Toyota and the rest of Lexus crank out appliances for the mass market.
