GM's success story is down to the fact that they sold a large quantity of these cars to rental companies and a fair, not great, number of consumers and to the US government. A car company as large as GM that only sells four vehicles(Camaro, Silverado, Cruze & Malibu) in significant quantities is not a good investment, especially since they are on different platforms.

GM desperately needs to get US Police departments to start ordering vehicles to get their special vehicles division up and running. They also need to reduce their product line to be more competitive.

If they get the Police business and optimize the organization by downsizing and reorganizing labor contracts, their stock price will go up.

LOL, you haters can always buy the Corolla or Civic, both of which suckor how about the Elantra(http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2011/09/review-2011-chevrolet-cruze-eco/) which also doesn't compare favourably to the Cruze. But it's American and we all know how americans like to bitch and whine about THEIR OWN COMPANIES. That is why you as a country are destined to fall into another recession, because you are clueless.

Very true.Dumb Americans will never buy American products and the foreigners almost will never even consider a domestic.It is so sad.And they wonder why the economy is so bad.
