wow... so I guess Hyundai is using the more horsepower for less approach concept. It will definitely put competitions on notice for sure and I wonder what will competitors in response to this. I know the other brand has better quality and reliability but will they join the horsepower game?

What are you talking about? It's all about power to weight ratios. Small light coupe with 365HP is pretty great. Big heavy truck with 365HP is not very exciting. Imagine a Miata with 299HP - a super car.

Wait, you don't like cars with a healthy amount of power?
WTF...

Of course he doesn't, that's why he finds Toyotas and Hondas exciting :)

FYI, I own and drive a Infiniti G37 coupe. So I appreciate the competition. Competition is good for all of us sports car lover. I know they don't compete directly but It will definitely make other brands to make sure to keep improving their Sports car or coupe to stay ahead.

Hopefully this will get Nissan to offer turbo 2.5L V6 of 350hp and 310 lb-ft, and maybe also turbo 2.0L I4 of 270 hp and 250lb-ft.

@quizz,

I know right? Just imagine a G37 coupe, A5 Coupe, 335i coupe with 365 hp and keep their around 3000-3200 lbs. it will be freaking fast.

@ dlin,

I can't wait for Nissan to starting using Turbo or Twin Turbo in most of their line up again. I want to see a Turbo or Twin Turbo Nissan 370Z and an Infiniti G37 coupe as well.

If Nissan could turn make the Z-car into a two car platform: one with a 2.5ltr turbo four putting out 278-320 hp and a 3.7ltr turbo six pumping out 425-500 hp would be amazing. Make the G37 into a NA version and a turbo version, Nissan maybe unstoppable.

Dear Nissan,

Put the G37 on a diet, add two turbos, price it competitively versus an M3 & C63 and don't look back. If you build it, they will come!

A Genesis Coupe with a turbo motor, diet and price tag $35,000 and under would be amazing. GM & Ford will take notice and you will take their sales.

Bring back the Sylvia/240sx and have a turbo 4 with 250-270hp.
