CarreraGT, Jesus didn't write any of the bible :) The bible was written by people thousands of years ago. It may have been written for a higher being known as "god" but what makes it anymore relevant then anything written today that would contradict the hate which the original documents portray so fiercely?

Carrera GT, one thing science has shown us is that it is possible to have completely backward made up theories that don't hold any basis in reality. Look at all the abandoned scientific principles for proof of this point. Something can make perfect sense to you and the whole wide world but still be incorrect. To accept an ideology that was brought into creation roughly 2000 years ago that asks for you to believe in it without proof is akin to believing that aether exists.

Yes, if you believe that one day human beings formed from a spontanteous combination of atoms perfectly and didn't believe in evolution... then that would be very comparable. As it lies, simple proteins are always being formed beside thermal vents, this type of primordial soups that after millions of years could spawn many extremely simple life forms. I've read an article recently that biology has identified many life forms around these vents that current evolution theories that can't trace back along the main genetic tree. Meaning the one spark of life that the evolution theory is based around has happened more then once.

I do believe the difference matters. For example, the computer you're looking at right now is the byproduct of centuries of research and development. If it was the stone age and all of a sudden the computer you are using was brought into existence... it would be far harder to conceive how it was brought into existance.

As to your dna debate point, I'd like to point out now that not all life has dna. DNA very possibly could have started out as a simple genetic mutation of a simple protein which stacked upon itself many times over. Living things with that mutation just happened to have taken over the majority of life forms.

Most people I know who own VW's find many things to love about them but reliability is not one of them.

Credit where it is due, Hyundai seems to be on the right track.

However it tells you a lot of VW ethos and mindset when its CEO is personally inspecting a vehicle from its competition at an Autoshow, in full view of other people and their cameras and he is able to inquire why a particular part in that vehicle is better than theirs.

Can you imagine a Ford or GM CEO doing that at an Autoshow ?

He was asking why the Koreans can make an adjustable steering wheel that doesn't clunk when you adjust it. He actually say we can't do it, BMW can't do it...How can they do it. He kept playing with it in disbelief.

But like you, I was impressed that he took the time to look at the competition. I wonder just how often the old GM or Chrysler did that?

Further evidence that Hyundai is serious about its quality and has an enormous amount of potential to become a dominant player in the market.

New Passat isn't the best, New Camry retakes the crown.

"The Camry’s optional V-6 may be basically unchanged, but it delivers respectable hustle—0 to 60 mph in 5.8 seconds, the quarter-mile in 14.3 at 101 mph, 50 to 70 in 3.7. Those times are brisk for this class and would have been tops in our recent sedan comparison involving the Honda Accord EX-L V-6, Hyundai Sonata 2.0T Limited, and Volkswagen Passat 3.6 SEL. Chalk it up in part to a curb weight—3407 pounds—100 pounds wispier than that of the lightest car in that group. Similarly, our test Camry’s 0.83-g skidpad performance would have topped those charts, and its 70-to-0-mph braking distance—173 feet—would have been 15 feet better than the comparo’s best stopper"

Angryinch, you'll also note that he never got back to me about where exactly in the laws in Asian countries that make it very difficult and discriminatory to not let foreigners obtain citizenship. Seems to be a pattern here...hmmmmm. He was just repeating what was told to him by a grand wizard.

"Do you know the name of a white person (or two) that has been granted Chinese citizenship? The law may state that it's possible but it's just a charade."

You know so little...
