I don't think even Porsche can get away with that price blazinboy. I see more realistically 40 grand. But considering that a Lotus Elise came in at this price it is not out of wack. If the car is light weight like an Elise it's power to weight ratio should be comparable. That is 0-60 in the mid 5 to high 5's,fabulous handling,great fuel economy.Further this platform is suposed to be shared with VW and Audi. That should increase the profit margin per unit sold.

VW version $30K base, Audi version $40K base, Porsche version $50K base.
This entry level model also allows Porsche to push its other models further up market in both price and performance.
