MUST SEE! NOT KIDDING! Chinese Company Yema CLONES The Audi A4, Infiniti EX And VW Tiguan!
Well, it's a well known fact that when it comes to copying, the Chinese have NO shame.

Well this is the doosey of all doosies if you ask us!

At the Chengdu Auto Show 2011 Yema showed their Audi A4, Infinti Ex and VW Tiguan clones called E-SUV, T-SUV and the F16!!

And we're actually shocked how close they came to the real things!

See for yourself and comment below...

To the best of my knowledge there are no copyright laws in China, anyone know about this in more detail? you wouldn't catch me driving one of these, I would be concerned about the safety or I mean the lack of it, one day the Chinese will realize that they are just as smart as us, even though we don't study as hard we produce better vehicles, it's harder imitating, being original is not only easier, it's more rewarding.Funny thing is the Chinese and Japanese both compete to see who is smarter, I know who is smarter.

That's really shocking that they can legally get away with blatant ripoffs. One thing for sure we all know, Chinese make unsafe and crappy products. Look at toys that are toxic, and how about the Chinese drywall that they sold to builders during the building boom, and they also are toxic and have to be ripped out of those houses, and are badically now condemned homes. In my opinion, there should be some legal agreements made between all countries and copy infingements, and also, quality stds. before they are allowed to be sold to the general population.

There are agreements...they just choose not to comply with them. Just think of all of the companies that offshore production there. Usually, they will have a knockoff in the market within 2-3 years...good luck G.E.

I feel worry for our country a high percent of factories are in China because is "cheaper" that's the price we have to pay later, because they already have the technology to make what ever hey want to make ,build without respect and breaking legal contract like this. The principal thing now is that we don't have jobs in our country because of that.
The other issue is about quality of the "product" they make , because they usually use LEAD and other poison sustances can someone know WHY...????

This whole thing highlights one of the largest problems facing the long-term viability of the Chinese economy- their culture. Chinese culture looks down on sticking out of the crowd and going against the establishment. A culture like that is a culture that does not innovate. It is also exceptionally difficult to modify such a deeply ingrained cultural norm.

India will likely surpass China economically for this reason.

What's wrong huu76, you quiet on this post can I buy a vowel? I guess since these are from China you are going to act like these are orginal huh? But if it was Korean you would have said something.

My emotional reaction is that this should infuriate the entire automotive world and embarrass the Chinese business community. Send in the drones to the plant site where these are produced!

While an obvious lower tier producer resorts to low handed competition, what does it also imply for the strategic alliances on manufacturing and technology that leading companies such as VW and GM are risking with their Chinese alliances?

Looking at those pictures makes me sick of my stomach! That is disgusting and absurd! The Chinese should undergo some sort of boycott, maybe then they would start respecting Industrial Property!

OK , what do u say about replicas made in the USA ???
Are not they violating the industry copy rights ??

Many replicas made by U.S. companies have paid for rights to the original designs, those who haven't make weird changes to them to make them legal. But most of the replicas made in the U.S. are of cars that are worth copying, and plus most of them are actually safe and/or based off of something that is safe.

So these morons can build a car, but are clueless on how to design a car.

What a bunch of idiots. :-D
