VW Issues Stop Sale Notice On 2012 Jettas?
According to a post on the TDI Club forums it appears that Volkswagen  has issued a stop sale notice on the 2012 Jetta TDI.

This is primarily due to a harmonic resonance issue with the fuel injector system. It appears the natural resonance of the injector pump is coinciding with the injectors and in some case may impede proper fuel delivery.  The solution is simple enough with the attachment of a isolation dampener to assembly to alter the natural resonance.  The stop sale was issued until parts can be received at the dealership.

At this time it is unclear if a recall will be involved for any or all TDI Jetta models or if it will be expanded to other models.

We must give VW credit for dealing with this temporary problem, they have improved haven't they? I haven't checked consumer reports, and even if I did I wouldn't trust there biased bs.

My sister drives the new Jetta TDI (traded in a Prius II for it). No issues whatsoever. But I am going to inform her about this, unless she's already received the official VW notice.

I read TDIClub, and there has been issues with the #2 FI line cracking. Sounds like VW figured out the problem and solution. Doing precisely what a manufacturer should be doing.

My daughter has an 09 TDI and it has been flawless. I wish I could have gotten the TDI in my Tiguan.
