New Civic Type R will be the first ever turbo car from Honda
The Honda Civic Type R already has a formidable reputation but the tuning experts at Mugen still think it could be improved. Is the Acura RDX a car? or a Cute ute? I wouldn't consider the RDX a car. Name an actual car (not a mini SUV) from Honda that came from the factory with a turbo. A model name and year would be nice.

This thing could perhaps help to redeem some of the blandness of the rest of Honda's product line, but don't look for it in the states. Because they won't sell 50 or 60,000 of them, Honda won't consider our market.

I think it looks great, but lets compare this to Fords EcoBoost 2L engine, ithas 247HP and is probably has the same or better efficiency, the Honda now looks great though, a huge improvement over my 2007 Civic, One thing I would change is a better approach angle, I have hit/dragged the front cowl over every underground parking lot...there just needs to be less overhang! maybe a 6inch longer wheel base and stiffer suspension with slightly more wheel travel so I am not on the bump stops on every small bump in the road, I find larger cars are better at this, Honda has to get back to the drawing board and come out with a 2L direct injection motor with more power and efficiency as the Fords, I am due to get another vehicle in another year or two, I will probably get a Rubicon or an F-150 and keep my civic, but If I were to buy another econo box I would look at the Ford if this is the best Honda can do, I haven't looked at the safety yet, that is foremost.

The new Focvs looks shaaaaap, The new Civic looks like puke.

As far as navigating the urban jungle there is something to be said about Chelsea tractors or at least RWD vehicles with short front overhang.

What is a chelsa tractor? And wouldn't a short overhand be good? I sure think so, even more so on a performance minded car that is low, there would be way less scrapping and you could go lower if you wanted to without the clearance problems of large overhangs like my 2007 Civic.

Chelsea tractor is the British name for a large SUV (i.e. Range Rover) driven by the filthy rich in the narrow streets of Chelsea, London:

Didn't they have a turbo 1.5-l V6 in the '70s and '80s used in F1? Or was that BMW (and it was a 4-cylinder)?

The 2.2l i-CTDi 140 BHP in the EU Civic is a turbo, cough! The rumor has been that they are also developing a 1.6l turbo petrol engine tuned for 200 HP to be used in a non-hybrid CRZ:

That will be a little monster!
