I think its funny that you equate 10-15% weight savings into 20% fuel economy gains.

it's closer to the Concept than I thought it would be, I didn't think the lights would make it and they didn't but the rest of the car at that size would be pretty slick

Poor angryinch1,2,3,4,5,6,7.... do you still have a hard time understanding free body diagrams? If so I don't blame you for thinking that 10% weight savings can net 20% fuel economy gains.

Wait, what? Is Hyundai copying Toyota styling before they release models now? Or is it the other way around lol.

I'll admit to being biased, but can you admit to seeing the similarities?

The Hyundai's hood seems completely flat in comparison to the bulbous look on the Prius line up, I guess I have to see the i30 when it comes out, so far it looks like Hyundai is floating 2 front grills.

But to be honnest, if I see a Prius C on the street ( especially with those back lights ) there is no doubt in my mind it's a Toyota, not a single doubt.

I know the Prius concept came out a few years back and when I A/B the concept with the JDM C and current Prius, I see the evolution clearly.

I see allot of Mazda 3 in the I30 tho, don't you ?

Here is the front end of the Concept

Now look at the Production model Prius C, a current model Prius and the concept, I clearly see the evolution

You're right clearly an evolution, this Prius is about 10% concept car, and 90% Hyundai.

As to the Mazda design, yes there are clear lines of the car that are similar, but isn't that expected for most compact hatchbacks?

They need to move the information panel to the normal position on the dash instead of the middle in the Prius interior. Otherwise it looks decent for a small car.
