SPIED: The FIRST All-New BMW 3-Series Spotted UNCOVERED On US Soil
Although the very first images and announcement of the all-new BMW 3-Series were not too long ago, it appears that BMW North America is not waiting to get the 2012 3-Series on the ground stateside. The only reason I know this is because it's been spotted in my stomping grounds of Northern New Jersey.

From the images I can tell the 3'er was seen driving on the Garden State Parkway and was milling right in front of the company's Woodcliff Lake headquarters. Not the first time, and won't be the last. Test cars will be always be seen in this area.

One funny little thing is that Mercedes-Benz's North American HQ is literally a mile down the road, so it's common to see popular lunch spots with both automaker's latest and greatest camouflage mules.

Is this the first spy shot of the 2012 BMW? Thanks for sharing, and you were late for work.

What's the big deal about new BMW 3 series? Yes, it's nice, but why does it get so much coverage on autospies? Mercedes refreshed their C class not so long ago, and I don't remember seeing THAT MANY articles about it.

Because the 3 series is the standard for the sports sedan market - it's an icon for the segment. The C series has never had any sort of unique reputation that merits attention.

looks good in these shots, looking forward to build my ideal one online even though I would rather a coupe... my lease ends June 2012 on my 335 coupe and so this will be my next car. just drove the 2.0ltr turbo in the 5 series and its impressive in terms of smoothness and power, not to mention mileage
