VIDEO: McLaren's MP4-12C SCREAMS Around The Nurburgring And Bumps A Few Cars Down A Notch On The Leaderboard

Another day, another story centered around the Nurburgring. As the Nurburgring's importance in the automotive industry continues to grow so do the number of performance machines tested around The Green Hell.

With that said, one publication has been independently testing products on the track for quite some time now. SportAuto has continuously tested product after product using the same driver, its own Executive Editor, Horst von Saurma.

While some may say this isn't the most legitimate way to go about high-performance testing, I have more faith in SportAuto than a manufacturer-conducted test.

Now, back to the real story. McLaren's MP4-12C has run a staggering lap time of 7:28, which slots it in between the Gumpert Apollo Sport and Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0.

Considering most of its surrounding placeholders were sporting a set of semi-slicks, that's a pretty impressive feat.

Put semi slicks on the MP4-12C and it should dominate that leader board. The British have finally beaten the Italians and the Germans in their own game!

LOL at the price of this car, it should go that fast. Seeing it's still beaten by the 1/3 of the price Nissan GTR and Chevy ZR1. It's not saying that much

Those cars had semi slick. Put semi slicks on this car and it would annihilate the Z06, not to mention it is way better built and much more comfortable when it is set in comfort mode. I would also beat the GTR is semi slick. It took semi slicks on those cars to do what this will do on street tires.
