It looks better than the Elise. It doesn't look like a practical such as the TT but does have appealing attributes to its design. I think a coupe version would be nicer.

Yes, the Audi version looks very aggresive, The Elise is not a great looking car IMO, it looks ok, but backs up with the performance. This isn't supposed to be extremely practical. I think it might/will be slightly more practical than the Elise. The Elise is extremely unpractical as it has basically no ergonomics and is extremely low to the ground, getting in and out is hard.

I think the Elise is a great looking car. But I do love Audi's new version as well and how aggressive it looks.

1,600lbs is going to be very very hard to meet, especially since the Elise is 1,950. And sub 6seconds? You better make it sub 5 seconds if you wanan compete with the Elise which runs a 4.8 0-60.

Well, the article says that they will use carbon fiber to keep the weight low. I think the 1.4 TSI twingcharger engine will be used with 170 hp, or maybe a bigger version with even more hp. The performance will be there.
