AUTO SPIES WORLD EXCLUSIVE: Don't buy ANY GM vehicle before you read this!!!

At the end of June, GM revved up the incentives again and from every indication, the showrooms were full and business was brisk.

There's only one problem...

On July 6th, when the incentives ended, GM dealerships turned into ghost towns.

I was out this weekend contemplating throwing a new Corvette into the AutoSpies.com stable and I saw the carnage first hand.

I was in one of the largest Corvette dealer's showrooms at about three in the afternoon and there was not ONE person on the lot OR in the showroom!

On a Saturday afternoon!!!

It was eerie!

So I made a few calls to my insiders...

They tell me that GM is brewing up the mother of all promotions to counteract this downturn and they will get the full details on 7/18.

The promotion will start on 7/19 and our spies tell us there is even a chance that the promotions will include Corvette's, for the first time ever! Stay tuned!!!

Well, they have to do something to get people back into their cars. It speaks a lot for a company when people only buy cars when they can get them for pennies.

Z51 Coupe...nav, yellow/black or silver/red.

Silver on red! Why are you choosing the Coupe over the Lift-Back by the way? And what about your 911S? Why are you getting a vette?

I sold my 06 S (it's the end of model year so I had to move it)and I have an 07 on order...won't be in till end of year.

Thought I would check out an 07 Vette in the interim...

p.s. The Coupe has the liftback...I like the lines better than the Convertible.
