SCOOP: Guess Who's Joining BMW's U.S. Lineup For 2012...

Thanks to some special information that was passed along to us, we know something most don't.

The BMW X1 will finally be gracing the US' shores for the 2012 model year.

We know this because the X1 has made it onto BMW's ordering guide -- check out the image down below.

If you don't recall, BMW said the X1 was supposed to make it to the Americas sometime last year; however, BMWNA delayed its arrival since the X1 was so successful in Europe. Following that, BMW said it's entry-level premium SUV was "indefinitely postponed" for the US market.

Things looked pretty grim for a while but look, it finally has made it.

Now. How long until one hits a showroom?

Would like to know where you got the order guide or see a large scan with more information. Nothing in that picture states it is an order guide for the US or that it really is part of an order guide. Today I stopped by to visit a friend who works for the local BMW dealer, He handles the and asked about the X1. They have no order guide or info on the X1 coming to the US market and they checked with their district manager and he stated the same, no X1 anytime soon. So please post a scan of the complete order guide with the BMW letterhead for us to see.
