SEMA SHOW WORLD EXCLUSIVE - First REAL-LIFE Photos Of The M-Seeker, The Lexus GS F Sport
One brand that has been making a monumental shift in its products and how they are perceived is Lexus. Long ago it was a marque that was plagued with the stereotype of quiet cars that were the furthest thing from an enthusiast's dream.
Now it produces an exotic and a 400 horsepower plus sport sedan.
And if you were at the 2011 New York Auto Show you would have noticed that there is a schism happening at Lexus. One half of the booth was dedicated to luxury sedans and hybrids while the other half was full of F Sport modified vehicles.
Think of it as the ying yang concept.
With that said, Lexus has is clearly on a path to redefine the brand. Another critical step is the all-new Lexus GS, which is said to drive with a more sporting attitude. In addition, Lexus has brought more ammunition in form of the GS F Sport, making its show-stopping debut at the 2011 SEMA Auto Show.
Is it us or do you notice anything M-like? Also, please note that in the last image, Lexus is trying to convey that there is
some
element from the LFA embedded in this car.

Of all the things to criticise about this high-performance sedan and you criticise the LEDs?
And if BMW's the only car you can instantly identify then you have selective blindness.

The GS F Sport in those pictures is a sport package for the standard GS, not a full on F model like the IS-F, correct? So then by "M Seeker" I assume you mean "M" Infiniti, not "M" BMW.

No duh this car isn't a GS-F. What I am getting at is the similarity of that front valence to the recent BMW M cars...

Looks very nice. Aggressive and sporty. I like the headlights and exhaust design of GS450h F-Sport more.

That interior is just so ugly. No elegance or class. It looks like it belongs in a sports car, not a luxury sedan.
