VW says Suzuki is no longer an 'associate'

Volkswagen AG publicizes that it does not consider Suzuki Motor Corp. as an "associate" anymore, retracting wording that started the breakup of the two companies' partnership. VW stated in its yearly report in March that it could "significantly influence" operating and financial policy decisions at Suzuki.

You mean how BMW bought Range rover in the past to get at 4x4 tech, then sell it again, how it bought Rover to get at Honda manufacturing tech then dump Rover .. funny how BMW have become mroe reliable over the past 20 years (still behind the top 10 though)
