Holly crap that thing is nice.

I was all set to say: M5 Killer? Flamebait!! But that would have been flamebait.

That car is dropped a little too low for my tastes but I'd still hit that!! I like the new GS.

I don't know if you got the memo, Lexsucks, but being sarcastic requires a tone of voice that can't be translated into writing. Nobody knows whether any comment of yours is serious or joking anymore. Please stop it.

Nope, not an M5 killer...unless they drop the IS-F or LFA engine in it.

only if looks can kill. oh my God this thing is about the ugliest POS I have ever seen. who cares if this thing handles better and is faster than a M5. you could never get enough bragging rights driving this sh*t. i mean FU*K!!! i've never cursed so much in a post. the more i look at this the more i want to shoot myself. this thing will make kids cry in the streets. why Toyota? WHY?? i mean, i hate Toyota but this is just fuc*en ridiculous.

How can such a promising front end (concept) have such a bland side profile, rear, and interior execution? Only Lexus.

It looks like Lexus took their inspiration from the TT-RS from the front with that massive grill and lower intakes.

Thank you. I was wondering where I had seen those side air intakes. Looks like the front bumper was cobbled together from bits and pieces of BMW M-Division & Audi design. The rear lip spoiler on this car is atrocious.

There are only one real way a car can become a M5 Killer:

Beat it on the track!

Second way would be to beat it in sales, but that way isn't fun.

looks good, but not classy as M5 or E55

Lexus USA vice-president of marketing, Brian Smith said during the unveiling of GS F-sport that upcoming GS-F could look like Project GS by Five Axis.
That is great news which means GS-F is definitely coming/confirmed and would look very close to this stunning angry looking Project GS by Five Axis.

Now put the 640BHP engine from that LS testing mule in this body and you have a M5 Killer.

This car looks AWESOME! I am ready to trade in my land yatch (LS) for this. Price it lower than an M5 or E63 and they will come! Myself included.

I saw this at the NY auto show, I'll admit it's better looking in person but I can't call it good looking. Unless they stuff that beautiful engine from the LF-A under the hood, then an M5 killer it is not....

If it had the M5's horses and a 6 Speed stick shift, I'd take it more seriously.

Blackdynamite

RS6 makes more power than R8 V10. X5M, X6M got more power than the outgoing V10 M5(all three selling at the same time) similarly i mean GS-F getting more powerful engine than LFA is possible as by the time GS-F will be unveiled around the beginning of 2013, LFA will be quite old and Lexus would need something exiting and powerful to keep up the interest. Also the recently seen 640BHP Lexus mule is a good indication.

This is neither ugly nor Japanese design. Five Axis is actually a Californian company.

Every Lexus is white so how is this car finished in a "stunning glacier white." Could the author's bias be showing under his dress?
An air suspension is a major problem waiting to happen. It is not needed in a civilian car.
Otherwise, I wish Lexus good luck. They need desperately to get some soul and life back into their product line. More competition is good for everyone.

Either the front fascia needs to be toned down or the sides and rear need to be exaggerated more. The front and the rest just seem mismatched.

oh please. they need to 'kill' the 3, 5, 7, x5, etc before they can hope to tackle an M.

what an awesome looking car the mirrors could be a lil more agressive but they wanted to keep it close to the f-sport model with a lil more agression and flare. its a show car so the suspension would be dropped tht low. i love the front and the rear exaughst is pefect with the curves. with a lil more umph from an is-f engine i think the m5 would fall prey. while tht car is elegant IMO its also boring and way too heavy
